Why Summer is the Perfect Time for Family Photos!
Summer is just around the corner. By now your camping chairs are likely permanently in the trunk of the car for lacrosse, soccer or baseball games, trips to the farmer's market for fresh strawberries start in a couple weeks, and trails are opening up for all the horse & dog lovers. For photographers, this is an exciting time because it is arguably the best season for family photos!
Most families I photograph are busy people! Between sports, work, hobbies, & travel, I know there's usually several schedules being juggled at a time. I get it! While summers can feel like it flies by, it's also a great time to find a break in the chaos to have family photos done. I'm flexible. We'll make sure to find the right date & time to book you in!
I love summer sessions for their beautiful weather... no chilly fingers or red noses! Not much beats the warm lighting we get in photos during the summer months. Especially dreamy sunset sessions at golden hour!
In my opinion, summer photos are timeless. They don't have the same seasonal feel that fall photos have (although fall colours make for a stunning background). If you're looking to hang your family photos as art in your home, summer is a great time to get them done!
This time of year can be an in between for a lot of families.
